Not medical advice
The information on SleepHelpCenter.com is for general educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition, and never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read here.
Not a clinic
Sleep Help Center is not a sleep clinic, sleep laboratory, or medical facility. We do not diagnose or treat sleep disorders, perform sleep studies, or prescribe treatments.
Tools are not diagnostic
Our Sleep Diary, journals, planners, and checklists help you observe and record your own habits. Their results are estimates based on your entries and are not medical measurements.
Medications and supplements
We do not provide dosing guidance for medications or supplements, including sleep aids and melatonin. Talk with your doctor or pharmacist before starting, stopping, or changing any medication or supplement.
Drowsy driving
If you feel very sleepy, do not drive or operate machinery. Excessive daytime sleepiness can be a sign of a sleep disorder and is worth discussing with a clinician.
Accuracy
We work to keep our content accurate and current, and we cite our sources. Medical knowledge changes, and we can't guarantee that every page reflects the latest research. If you spot an error, please let us know.
